Sept. 18-21: :Jerry has been commissioned, along with fellow Artist Frank Hass, by the organizers of Charlotte's annual 'Festival in the Park' to create a 6'x9' painting of the festival during the festival.
Jerry and Frank will be painting live all 4 days during select times. Both artists will also have separate works available for viewing and purchase.

Ongoing: 'Actors Theater of Charlotte' is exhibiting paintings by Jerry Kirk in the Lobby Gallery.

February: NoDa's funky Canvas Monkey Gallery is now selling the art of Jerry's alter ego, Tony Java.

2007

Exhibit: Nov. 2 - Jan. 1 'CURRENT VISION' with Alex Clark, Raed Al-Rawi and Rusk Masterton at Gallery 620 in uptown Charlotte

August: 'LODESTONE DIGITAL', with offices throughout the US, commissioned Jerry Kirk to do a painting for their New York City office in the style of Jerry's alter ego, Tony Java.

July: Jerry Kirk has opened a retail space in 'The Boulevard at NoDa', featuring his art along with that of his Alter Ego, Tony Java

June 2 - July 7: Jerry Kirk will be exhibiting paintings in Charlotte at the 'Evening Muse'

April - May, 2006: ECLIPSE ART GROUP IN SOHO. Jerry, along with the other members of Charlotte's Eclipse Art Group, will have artwork featured in an exhibit at the Ward-Nasse Gallery in Soho, New York

2005

October, 2005 - Jerry is pleased to announce that he and his family- wife Lisa and daughter Elly, are back living in Charlotte after spending the last year and a half in the Triangle. Jerry says, "We missed the Queen City and our friends and are very happy to be back home".

Sept. 2 - Oct. 30 - Gallery 620 in Charlotte, NC, presents 'NON-LINEAR PERSPECTIVES - AN EXHIBITION BY ECLIPSE ART GROUP'. This will be the first exhibition by Charlotte's legendary Eclipse Art Group in 3 years and the first exhibition by all original members almost 8 years

May 6 - June 25 - Gallery 620 in Charlotte, NC, presents 'Ballad of the Yellow House and Other New Paintings by Jerry Lee Kirk', Jerry's first exhibition of new work in almost 2 years

November - eJerry Kirk's painting, 'Sunday Afternoon, White St.', was featured in the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerces' Membership Directory & Consumer Guide

2004

June - Jerry Kirk's paintings can be seen in 2 different group exhibitions for the month of June. First is the annual 'Artists Hanging' show at the Contemporary Art Museum in downtown Raleigh. Second is the juried exhibition, 'Let The Games Begin' at the Visual Art Exchange Gallery located in Raleigh's City Market

March - The art of Jerry Kirk's Alter Ego, Tony Java is now being sold at The Cotton Company in Wake Forest

Award Winner - 3rd prize for the painting, 'In Love (with the idea of Love)' and Honorable Mention for the painting, 'Fat City', in Raleigh's Visual Art Exchange's Annual 'Spring Fling' Competition for April. The juror was Charles Joyner, Professor of Art at NC State, School of Design

Charlotte Magazine - Jerry Kirk is featured in an article profiling his work as an Artist and as one of the founders of the NoDa Art District in the November 2003 Issue. A follow up article detailing Jerry's move to the Triangle is featured in the March, 2004 issue

Award Winner - Critics Pick- 'Best New Gallery' for Jerry Kirk's 'Sanctuary Art' awarded by Creative Loafing Magazine

Award Winner - Jerry Kirk won the 2003 Charlotte 'Shout' poster competition. In addition to a cash prize, Jerry's image was used on posters, books, apparel and other items used to promote the annual celebration of Charlotte's arts and cultural community

April Opening - Jerry Kirk has opened 'Sanctuary Art', a gallery featuring the work of local and national emerging and established Artists, in Charlotte's historic NoDa Art District
