Murals / Decorative Wall Painting

Murals and decorative painting enhance the beauty and value of your home or can provide your small business with a unique flair. Whether a floral design over a doorway, summer fruit painted in a breakfast nook, or a trompe l'oeil scene in an entry foyer, wall painting is an wonderful touch that completely transforms your surroundings. Because every client has a different vision for their wall or mural painting project, there is no set fee for this service. However, below are some general pricing and informational guidelines:
 
In-home consultation:
For all potential projects, Jerry Kirk will come to your home or business with a portfolio to discuss your ideas and evaluate the sites with you at a charge of $30, to be fully applied to your project cost at whatever time you decide to start.

Smaller to medium decorative elements:
Smaller, simpler decorative designs or single elements on mantles, archways, entryways, nursery walls, hallways or elsewhere painted on your existing wall color, (example: single characters, floral vines, child's growth chart), generally $100 -250. Please expect to pay half upfront and half upon completion of the project.
 
Complex elements / murals:
Larger and more complex designs or single elements or full murals. (Example: room borders, murals scenes, entire themed rooms) Generally $250 and up. Murals scenes can be designed to fit a range of budgets and depend on level of detail, size, and complexity of design. Please expect to pay half upfront and half upon completion of the project.
 
Furniture Painting
Jerry, (or Tony Java™), can paint directly on your furniture and would be happy to discuss ideas with you. Wood accent chairs, cabinets and many other items become unique and interesting pieces with decorative touches or fine art scenes. For larger projects, Jerry will travel to your home and do the work there. For smaller pieces, Jerry will arrange for pickup and delivery of the item within the Charlotte area. Jerry does not strip or refinish the existing color/stain of the furniture but leaves that for you to take care of beforehand. Click here to see an example.

Child's Growth Charts
I can paint your child's growth chart as a separate element on a board ready for hanging. Based on your idea's, my own or a combination, this will be personalized and unique to the individual Child, a keepsake to cherish forever. Click here to see an example.
