NEWS: 2022 FOUNDRY GALLERY in Washington D.C. has selected Kirk's painting, 'Some Assembly Required', to be part of their juried exhibit, 'Artists Choice 2022'. The show will run the month of August with an opening reception on Saturday, Aug. 6. Foundry is one of D.C's oldest and most prestigious artist-owned galleries.

 

PUBLISHED: Carmina Magazine has published 3 Kirk paintings in their Sept 2021 issue, including their cover image

RECENT EXHIBIT: 'CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF COMMUNITY SUPPORTED ART at Projective Eye Gallery, UNC Charlotte Center City Gallery, Charlotte, NC. Public Reception: Thursday, June 21, 2018 6:30PM. Invitation only

 

NEWS: NoDa BREWING COMPANY selected Kirk, along with 14 other Charlotte artists, to produce a painting for permanent installation in their tap room.

NEWS: Kirk's Painting, 'Double Door Inn', has been selected for the cover of 'Tangents', a Charlotte periodical published in December, 2016

 

COMMISSIONED - Community Supported Arts Program. Kirk was one of 9 artists selected to receive $2000 to produce 50 small paintings for donors and collectors. Sponsored by Arts & Science Council/Charlotte-Mecklenburg. - 2017

NEWS: Kirk's Painting, 'Bridge at Freedom Park', has been selected for the cover of Queen's University's literary magazine, 'Signet', published in April, 2015

 

NEWS: 3 of Kirk's paintings were accepted into the juried exhibition, 'SHOWDOWN', at Hart Wizten Gallery in Charlotte, NC. The exhibit is March 7, 2015

 

NEWS: Kirk's Painting, 'Tree in Fog' has been selected for the juried exhibit, 'Tree Party' at Ciel Gallery in Charlotte. Juror is nationally acclaimed artist, Andy Braitman. Opening Reception: Friday, Sept., 5, 2014. Exhibit runs through Sept. 

 

NEWS: Kirk's Painting, 'August Sighs, Leaves Whisper' is now on a Billboard in Charlotte. As part of a project called 'PopArt', Sponsored by the Arts & Science Council of Charlotte and Adams Outdoor Advertising, Kirk was one of 20 local artists selected for billboards. The image will rotate to different billboard locations throughout 2014. In addition, the images will be placed on Newstands in Uptown Charlotte.
